Our simulated days are hosted at two magnificent sporting estates in the beautiful Berkshire countryside.
Mapledurham Country Estate
Our long track record of shooting at the Mapledurham Estate makes this venue ideal for even the most discerning client. Our attention to detail and simulated quality will match the excitement of a driven day’s game shooting with no risk of drawing a quiet peg. A typical day would comprise a variety of simulated game drives in the morning (grouse, partridge, and high pheasant), in the field refreshments alongside the river Thames overlooking the 15th-century working watermill, a fun team competition with explosive clays, followed by the grand finale drive. At the end of our day, we typically return to the Anthony Worrall Thompson’s Greyhound Restaurant for prizegiving and lunch.
Yattendon Estate
We have recently acquired the use of the much loved Yattendon Estate for our simulated clay days. Yattendon is a sporting estate situated in the heart of West Berkshire covering over 9000 acres of North Wessex Downs area of outstanding natural beauty and accessible within an hour of London. A Riverswood clay day begins by meeting at the Royal Oak Public House, Yattendon for breakfast and safety briefing after which we proceed with a variety of game drives. For lunch, we return to the Royal Oak for prizegiving.
Our aim is to make the day unique and enjoyable for the client and as such we encourage our customers to get in contact with us to discuss specific requirements. We have purposely kept our simulated day adaptable so as to give our clients the opportunity to leave their mark on the day.
